Beachy postcards

I picked up two postcards from my grandparents in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina yesterday.
The top one is from my grandpa. "Someday it will really be a collectors item. One because of the information on M. B. and two because I never write to any one. You're just special!" Very true! It makes it even the more special. The one from my grandma I really like. It's a pretty picture, and it looks kind of old, especially the font on the back where it says "Post Card". Most don't even say that!

A little project I've been working on recently, making a book out of a Reese's Pieces box. It came out really cute! I used a little button and elastic to make a closure for it.

I don't have any specific use for it, I guess just as a notebook. I know it doesn't have anything to do with letter writing, or my project, but I really liked it. And what is a letter? Paper, written on, folded inside an envelope. A book is paper (this one minus the writing) folded inside a cover. Anyway, I hope you like it!

I also got this card yesterday from Laura. I thought it was really pretty! I'm not adding it to my count though, because I already have a couple letters from her. I'm only counting one letter/postcard per person.
